wet spring ~ tulips and pansies
Once spring officially rolled around here in Northern California, so did a pattern of rain. The overcast skies always add an additional dimension of color to the flowers. Cooler temperatures also help to extend their colorful show. I used a macro lens to savor the show of water drops on this tulip. Soon I'll be pulling my flowers and veggies out of the greenhouse for planting, the temperatures will soar up close to triple digits, and as I'm trying to keep everything watered and growing I'll think back to the benefits of this wet spring.
