      Als ich die Bilder in der Villa Camilla (1895) in Alzano Lombardo machte (seit Jahren unbewohnt und zum erstemal dem Publikum geoeffnet letztes Wochenende) war mir tatsaechlich Deine Bilderserie mit junger Frau in verlassenen und heruntergekommenen Rauemen eingefallen, welche ich schon immer sehr bewundert hatte.

      After repeatedly comparing the two versions of this photo, I've decided that although the other is nicely framed, I prefer this, because it draws the viewer's attention more immediately to the girl, and her story, whatever it may be, is really the heart of this photo. I still imagine her to be an angel heading home from her successful mission on Earth, at the end of a Frank Capra movie.
