(2015, June) Tree and Sidewalk Garden Planting, Tenderloin
On Saturday, June 13, 2015, Friends of the Urban Forest led volunteers in planting new street trees and sidewalk gardens in the Tenderloin neighborhood. Thanks to our #TechPlantsSF program, the volunteers for this planting came from San Francisco’s tech community, and included employees of Twitter, Dropbox, Google, StubHub, and ZenDesk. Participants also included members of FUF's Green Teens program, Supervisor Jane Kim, and representatives of the San Francisco County Transportation Authority, UC Hastings College of the Law, Tenderloin Community Benefit District, and Tenderloin Neighborhood Development Corporation.
