Upper Snoqualmie River HDR
So here is another image from the hike I made up to Twin Falls over a week ago with friends Pat and Tom www.flickr.com/photos/photopatthomas/ We only made it to the base of the falls www.flickr.com/photos/fresnatic/5709042226/ because we kept stopping along the way and finding cool stuff to shoot!
I liked this particular spot because of the rock in the upper right of the image would occasionally have a wave of water rush over it. The water was flowing very strongly and you could feel it tug at you when you were in the water. Lower Twin Falls was just a little further up the river. Have to go back, as this is a great place to hike and shoot. It also is just fifteen minutes east of where I live!
This is a combination of three exposures (-2,0,+2) merged and tonemapped in Photomatix. I cropped in Photoshop as well as eliminated a couple of pesky dust spots. I ran through Topaz Adjust to get some details back and correct the exposure. Final adjustments were completed in Lightroom, especially pulling the blue tone back some.
I hope everyone had a great weekend. I can't wait to see what Pat brought back from her trip over to the Palouse this weekend! I just may have to run over there this week to scope out a few locations! Thanks for the views, comments and faves. I appreciate them.
