Autumn in Seattle HDR 5346
After I got off from work in Ballard today, I drove over to Alki Beach. Yes this is where the Alki Point Lighthouse is located. Today may be the last day for about a week, that we have clear skies. Actually, as I was shooting this photo, the clouds were moving in and were starting to hide the sun. Sunset was sort of looking promising, but then the clouds got even thicker. Oh well, not much to complain about as we have had a great run of perfect fall weather so far.
I stood around and waited to capture the other iconic image associated with Seattle, the car ferry. I did shoot three images, but wound up with ghosting from the moving ferry. So this is one RAW image converted into an HDR image to bring out the highlights and the colors. It is interesting to see how bland the SOOC shot looks when it is next to this HDR image on my computer.
I hope everyone has a great week ahead. Thank you for visiting my photo stream, as well as your comments and faves. I have been working on catching up on your photo streams, but some of you are prolific at posting multiple photos per day! Hard to stay caught up on the great work being uploaded!
