Sunrise Paddling on the North Canadian River

    Newer Older

This weekend we finished cleaning up our new North Canadian River lot enough to park our RV there. Here, you see me taking my reward for months of struggle and expense...sunrise paddling. Most outfitters won't put you on the river in time to catch the morning mist rising up into the orange light of daybreak. This is why we bought our kayaks. Fantastic capture with the lighting and the mist. Well worth getting out early for this one.

An invitation for the Amazing Image group series.

This group is part of a series. Its admin team invites all the images in the groups. So we have a collection of some of the most amazing images found on flickr in the form of high quality group pools concentrating on a narrow topic in each group.

      Thomas & Dianne,

I'm an amateur songwriter and I'm building a slideshow to post to YouTube for a song of mine called, "ON THE RIVER". Your photo at www.flickr.com/photos/freewine/478332550/page4/ is excellent. Can I use it in my slideshow? (I'll credit you for it- perhaps "courtesy of FreeWine@flickr") You can reach me at papadavelavell@yahoo.com
