Crimson Velveteen

Recipe from Vegan Cupcakes Take Over the World. Topped with vegan buttercream (VCTOTW), chocolate shavings, and maraschino cherries.


About 1/4 of a cup of Comstock cherry pie filling was finely chopped & added to the batter, as were some chocolate chips to give it more of a chocolate-covered-cherry flavor. 'Twas a huge success in the Frankenberry household, but only because the original VCTOTW recipe was so good!
