Sky's The Limit

Here's a picture from my archives that was taken during a brief photographic trip to the local Pennine mountain borders a couple of months back. This remote sculpture above Burnley is named 'The Singing Ringing Tree'. It got a little overlooked in the evening's excitement surrounding weird and wonderful views at a nearby sculpture known as The Haslingden Halo - but was an intriguing and worthy spot to visit nonetheless. Sited some 1,200 feet above sea level, The Singing Ringing tree is never short of a brisk high-altitude wind to keep its metallic vocal chords in action. It is seen here on a crisp clear evening with the sun approaching the horizon and night soon to fall.

As requested is one of the shots i have of my good friend Tom. A top photographer & now he has his new Canon 7D ....well .. the skys the limit really. Just nicked your words .....hope you dont mind ;o)
