Sichuan Style Shrimp

Sichuan Shrimp

 

Quickly strirfy :

2 chopped cloves of garlic

2 T chopped ginger

3 T chopped red onion

 

Then add :

400 gr peeled gamba's/shrimp

 

Stirfry for a minute, then add

1 T light soysauce

1 T chinese black vinegar

1 T tomoto ketchup

1 T chilibeanpaste (toban jiang)

1 t sugar

3 T chickenstock

 

Bring to the boil and simmer for another minute or so.

Then add :

1 t rice vinegar

1 spring onion, chopped

2 red chillies, chopped

1/2 t sesame oil.

 

Heat throug, thicken with some maizena.

Sprinkle with coriander.

 

Easy dish, very nice with steamed rice and stirfried white cabbage.

I should make this more often.
