Orchidaceae Inflourescence Explosion

We received this orchid as a gift from a friend. They work at a greenhouse & were going to throw it away if we didn't want to try and save it. Fast forward a few months and we now have this mystery of an orchid blooming it's heart out. If anyone knows the precise species, please let me know. Update: The Orchid group has identified this not as a species but as a Cymbidium Hybrid for those who were curious.

The lighting source is a mix between an off-camera Nikon SB-28 though a Stofen Ominbounce pointed at two bent silver car sun shades directed in the direction of the flower/ceiling. I also set up on a shelf receiving some of the last natural light. The background is black fabric, but posterboard might have been easier.
