24 Hour Telethon
On Friday, Sept. 7, 2012, the Food Bank held it's first 24 Hour Telethon in an effort to raise awareness, funds and food as part of Hunger Action Month. The event was hosted by Gregory Ng of the popular online frozen food review show, FreezerBurns, and streamed live through the Food Bank website.

Throughout Friday evening and into Saturday, the telethon was packed with fun activities starting with a Social Media Mixer, a "Midnight Madness" volunteer activity, a Four-AM Food Drive, an early morning Breakfast-Buzz segment and interviews.

Through this event, over $20,000 was raised, 12,000 pounds of food was sorted by volunteers and 3,000 pounds of food was donated!
