The Bo'ness Railway is the premier heritage preserved railway in Scotland and operated on a purely charitable bases by members of the Scottish Railway Preservation Society and a dedicated team of volunteers of all aspects of the railway. The single track line runs for 5 miles with another three stops , Kinneil Halt - Birkhill Station and Manuel Junction which runs alongside the Glasgow-Edinburgh mainline for a short distance , unfortunately at the moment , you cannot alight the train at Manuel.
