HMS BLYTH sits in civvie dock at Greenock

HMS Blyth is a Single Role Minehunter of the Sandown Class one of twelve built for the Royal Navy in which seven are still in Commission.

 

She is only the second RN ship to bear the name Blyth , the first being a minesweeper in the second world war (J15).

 

Launched in 2000 from Vosper Thornycroft

First Commissioned Feb 28th 2001.
