ShaunavonSK 8-29-76

Canadian Pacific station at Shaunavon Sask. in 1976. During the construction boom of the 1st decade of the 20th century, CP had plans to make Shaunavon a division HQ for all branch lines in Southwest Saskatchewan, therefore the large size of the station, but these plans never materialized and Shaunavon remained a branchline terminal. The station was torn down in the early 80's and CP sold its SW Sask. branches to Great Western Rail in 2000
