W9- Composition- "Get Down" - Lily

DPS Assignment; 'Composition- 'Get Down'

It's been a tough few weeks, still haven't got my dSLR back, that's now 4 weeks & counting. It's really made me experiment with my p&s and while my shots aren't perfect I've enjoyed the challenge.

Great photo Shellie! My cat generally gets up and moves when I try to take photos of her :-) Hope you're feeling better and get your dslr back soon too!

Much appreciated people, thank you for posting. And thanks Rosy, finally I am feeling 100% and as luck would have it, just in time! I finally collected my dSLR on Friday, FIVE weeks down the track. I threaten to switch allegiance and my photo shop informed me that it takes about that with all the brands. A negative with living in a small consumer country eh? Ah well small price to pay for living in Paradise :)

I love this photo. It just works. Great colours. A cute subject whose eyes are just beautiful. Well done. Seen on DPS.
  • Shellie 3y

Thank you Gingin, I was actually heading out to the garden to get a shot & then I spotted Lily sitting there waiting for her dinner. Hungry models make the best ones! :)
  • Dennis Hanson 3y

Just as everyone says, it is not the Camera it is the Photographer! Seen on DPS.

I cannot believe this missed the selection. I said so the forum Shellie. I think the judging is really hit and miss lately!
  • Shellie 3y

Ooohhh Bruce, you stuck your neck out didn't you *gulp* :) Thank you and I am really honoured you think my shot should have been selected but in my eyes all those complimentary comments up above make me a winner anyway. Cheers.
