Elephant Seals at Point Reyes National Seashore

After not appearing for 150 years, the elephant seals returned to Point Reyes National Seashore in the 1970s and have thrived since then. You can view the elephant seals and their young ones from a remote viewing point at Chimney Rock (using a telephoto lens). They were currently breeding at this location, which is only one of 11 areas in the world where elephant seals breed (!)
