Waipio Valley

SouthEast from Pololu Valley down a rugged and beautiful coast is the Waipio Valley. Waipio means "Curved Water" and was the capital and residence of many early Hawaiian kings. We did not make it down the incredibly steep road to the valley floor but there is an amazing waterfall that feeds into the valley
