This full moon is the closest one we've had in 18 years.

 

The Astrologers are blaming it for the increased gravitational pull that caused the earthquake in Japan, the volcanoes in Hawaii and the Floods in other locales.

 

The Astronomers, who do not consider the Astrologers to be scientists say that the increase in gravitiation may cause some higher high tides but it should have a non noticeable impact.
