A seat in the park
Sorry, no original titles for this one :) This was a shot taken when we (myself, Kirstin McKee and Elsa) went on a photowalk / dinner near Primrose Hill late last week. We have been experiencing some amazing temperatures lately and the weather has been glorious so there has been loads of opportunity to take pictures lately. Picture taking has taken a bit of a back seat lately though. Anyway, HBM!
I'm typing this up as I am packing up my final bags. I leave London tomorrow night :( It feels like yesterday when I just arrived to the UK and felt like this was a whole new world. Now I feel no qualms about calling it home. I guess that is when you know you are feeling more comfortable in a new place. Over the past little while here, I have had so many great experiences and met so many great people. I am proud to call them my friends and I will definitely miss them when I go back... The silver lining is that they will give me a good excuse to come back and visit. I've seen some amazing things and took in some incredible experiences as well and I hope that my pictures and memories will let me relive my time here. No doubt that I feel very mixed emotions about going home. I really wish I could stay instead. Europe, I will be back as soon as next year.
This trip has taught me that I love traveling. Europe was just the start of the travel bug and I am already thinking about going somewhere later this year. Anyway, that was off topic. Just wanted to say thank you for keeping up with me during the past year or so. It's been a crazy ride that hasn't been without it's roller coaster of emotions but at the end of the day, I do not regret my moving to London one bit. I would do it again 100 times over if presented with the same opportunity. Taking the leap was worth it and I'm going to go with that mentality from here on in :)
