One of the major highlights to going to Turkey is Cappadocia. And what do people do in Cappadocia? The answer is, hot air balloon! At least that's what the tourists do haha. It is expensive but the experience is more than worth it. They take you up there bright and early in the morning so that you witness some of the remaining light in the sunrise. This is when this was shot. I seriously did not doctor this photograph much other than to bring out the contrast a bit. The sun rays were just dominant in this scene... I think the entire hot air balloon went quiet when we saw this and all you heard was click click click.
On another note, I am going to rant a bit (although I will remain a bit cryptic so I apologize for that). At some point, the feeling goes beyond flattery to just plain annoying. You would think that coming up with your own perspective would be more rewarding but I guess that isn't always the case. I don't think photographic imitation is wrong, it just doesn't feel right. Striving to be original and to see a photo through my own eyes is something I always strive for - I do not strive to see it in another person's perspective. Anyway! I'm literally going to rid myself of this now and just forget it.
Friday tomorrow! Hope you all have a good one!
