[305/365] Portobello Market
Finally went and visited another one of those markets that I have always wanted to go to yesterday. The Portobello market is situated within Notting Hill (gorgeous area btw, you can tell that there are some houses that only the rich dare to live in) and is home to stores and stalls that sell loads of antiques :D As photographers go, this place is a little bit of heaven as you think you want to shoot just about everything until you realize you are holding up a line of about 20 people haha. You can find your pockets though and you can shoot just as much as you want from there. I did get an evil eye from someone though (picture below!) lol.
Really cool items there like old school footballs and rugby balls, golf clubs, antique cameras, books, and just about everything else that you could name! I'm going to have to go back here and explore it properly... I only had about an hour before I had to go to lunch with a bunch of friends (Bloody French - great food, bad service).
Photo of the Day. As an aside, one of my pictures got selected for photo of the day by this online magazine! Weird, they selected one of my earlier photos and not some of the ones I selected lol. But I'm not complaining! Click the link to see which one they picked!
Anyway hope you all had a fantastic Saturday. The meal I cooked yesterday went well but it wasn't enough for the people that were there! I was anticipating 6 maybe but there were about 3 more heads unaccounted for... Oh well, next time!
