Henry Carroll, WDAF radio announcer extroidinaire!

My new acquaintance and radio announcer Henry Carroll came outside and posed for me in 1944 when he was on the "day shift" for a change. Not only did we visit, he typed me a copy of the lovely poem "Moonbeams" which opened the nighttime program; he also got me autographs of all the WDAF personalities who were present that morning. It was a real thrill for a teenager like me to have a personal contact with a radio personality whom I had admired for several years of the air!
