Salticidae > Opisthoncus polyphemus

I found this little spider in my Guava Tree this afternoon, I had seen it before but had never been able to get a photo of it. The Spider had moved its home up to a higher spot in the tree which gave me a chance to get these photos. It was very windy while I was taking these photos and the leaf the spider was sitting on feal off the tree and I never saw it again. This is a Opisthoncus polyphemus Jumping Spider (Thanks Robert). These seem to be the most common type in my yard and I photographed much bigger versions of this spider.

Shot on my Canon 350D with my Sun 135mm Telephoto Macro Lens mounted onto Extension Tubes.
