• Trusty MacBook, which is starting to feel a little show. I've been fighting back the urge for a MacBook Pro for months now!
  • A real-life notebook, an essential addition to my life.
  • Brilliant Harman-Kardon soundsticks.
  • One of two George at Asda touch-activated lamps, available in various colours for £10 (this one is green).

Great value and quality, I've got two and am thinking of buying another one soon...
  • I've arranged nine 6x4 photos on this wall, attached by blu-tack and framed with very very cheap Ikea frames which come in a 3-pack. I'm going back for a lot more soon... they're excellent.
  • The wireless headphones have been a bit neglected since I got my soundsticks...
  • Massive Ikea mirror for something like £25. Again, really high quality for a seemingly low price...
  • Joel on Software, a truly excellent book (which I've nearly finished), and Pro Drupal Development (a bit of required reading for work...)
  • Loveley, grand oak-veneer desk from Ikea for only £100. It is *superb*, simple and has a really, really nice little extra desk which slide out. Very good buy.
  • Wireless MightyMouse... an excellent buy. Get one. Now.

My New Desk

Newer Older

I've been living in our new student pad in Clyde Park, Redland for a few months now, and it's finally starting to feel like I've settled in.

I've got lots of photo printing to do yet, though...

Looks nice! I look at this and can't help but think this is kept in a much cleaner state than anything I have / would have...

Seen on my Flickr home page. (?)

Blimey. Student pads didn't look like that in my day. Where's the kaftan and the leftover kebab?

I'm with Gary, this is total luxury, even by my fully employed, earning my own money standards.

Looks like a desk out of a furniture magazine, but not one of those Rent-A-Center ones.
