Field Museum Insect of the Week 10-13-11
"We imagine moths to be dull browns and grays, flying around lights at night with thick bodies and feathery antennae. But not with this sunset moth, Chrysiridia rhipheus. This day-flying moth is found in Madagascar and is one of the most stunning insects on the planet. Not bad for a moth!"
