Panama Zoology Expeditions
This set covers two Field Museum Zoology Department expeditions: The Panama Canal Zone Expedition (1911-1912), whose purpose was the collection of fish specimens from the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans, and the Crane Pacific Expedition (1928-1929), during which Dr. Karl Schmidt collected mammals and fish specimens.

The photos from the Panama Canal Zone Expedition are notable for their focus on the construction of the Panama Canal.
