Protecting the Saskatoon Berries

The birds love to eat the berries and they make a mess. So each summer I put up the mosquito netting. This summer the bushes were so big I had to buy a 2nd net.

 

For some reason the yellow colored net really kept them away from the bushes that weren't cover.

 

The day I took the net off I had 100 birds sitting on the fence taking turns about 20 at time, sweeping into the tree, eating and flying out.

Done
