homemade envelope frenzy

    Newer Older

Between a private swap for large envies, a gift for a journal partner, and some for myself, I went nuts and made thirteen 6" x 9" and a few smaller ones. Most of the maps are of Antarctica.

Domaine du Réal, kattera22, lila kill, and 3 other people added this photo to their favorites.

I think of them as the raw canvases for mail art, and that's what gets me excited about making them—imagining all the collage that can be built on these backgrounds....=grin=

I love envelopes and have made many templates. Alas, my snail mail friends are few. I have now started collecting old grungy envelopes. SOO glad to see yours.

Terrific array of papers/envelopes. Each will inspire its own creative collage. Your letters and cards are a treat for the recipients as well as the postal workers who get to see and handle your art!
