In medieval times, you would barely see anything of the Notre Dame in Paris or the local church in medium sized towns throughout the continent. Urban design was not meant to be straightforward and to accompany you automatically to the church, which was tucked away behind the houses. Streets were built house by house and the maze of organic streets was the result, a part of our architectural heritage now endangered by modernism and its interpretations of the past.

This set is committed to those principles of urban design. Few of those examples are still original. Not only modernism has changed our world. History itself did it as well, to be merged with the preceding history in our mind.
