Fire destroyed a Catholic church in Hacienda Heights today, causing an estimated $8 million damage. So sad to see our beautiful church, as it stands demolished, every time i drive by it. There are so many memories that i can recall, our children's confirmation, our daughter elizabeth's first communion, our blessing of our marriage feb. 13, 1988, and our 25 wedding anniversary june 24, 2004, among numerous choir concerts that we held there, and different friends weddings, greg's, ricky's, and several funerals, our dear friend linda, gloria, ralph and glory ann, but even though the building is destroyed, the people are what make up our church, and we will rebuild and be better than ever, god will help us through this sad time!
