Papplewick Pumping Station - A Feast of Victorian Engineering

This amazing water pumping station is monument ot both the engineering skills and architecture of the Victorian era. It is perfectly preserved and open to the public at certain times. Run as a charity it depends on donations to keep the two James Watt Rotative Beam engines in peak condition.
