Green Shieldbug - adult in autumn colours

    Newer Older

I go from brown in summer to blue in winter, whilst they go from green to brown.

Know what you mean... in my case it's blue and purple... dratted steroids!

It's a lovely picture. I haven't found any brown green ones yet, although I saw one with brown patches on its shoulders the other day.

I see few in autumn - but lots in spring. That is when to look out for them.

colour and texture are great on this.
We have a frost here tonight and central heating on the blink so I could be a bit blue too tonight.

Lovely! Could almost mistake that for a forest shieldbug, what a dramatic change!!
