Beautiful feathers on a bird in the Butterfly and Wildlife park in Lincolnshire. I think... it was called a 'monal pheasant'? it was very interested in the camera and posed beautifully, utnil all of a sudden it managed to get its head through the wire and peck at my brand new lens! grrrr one nice scratch on it!
I refer it to my lovely cookery book section and particularly the part about roasted pheasant in a redcurrant and wild mushroom sauce!
