It started as an attept to draw some off-model Ren and Stimpy. My usual self-discipline drifted me rapidly to this typical Universal characterization (Later I discovered that a Frankenstimpy was actually drawn for a comic version of R&S, but that's another story).
The movement and construction in the original sketch are very far from perfect, but the second inking of Frankenstimpy's face has at least some solidity. The first inked version lost a lot of movement and three-dimensional shapes (the brow line, the dent head top, the gibbous back, the tight lipped mouth), which I tried to recover in the second rendition.
