Seattle Basketball Senior Portrait

    Newer Older

Took this high school senior portrait last night down at Alki in Seattle. I was pretty happy with the result. I just wish I hadn't cut off his middle finger....luckily it wasn't too much. I love your sports photos of seniors. I also like to use off camera look to get that edgy look. I find that sometimes though, I just can't get it right. Especially if the sky is very bright.

Thanks! Usually I wait for the sun to set or get really close to setting before I do my off camera flash stuff. I'm just using speedlites. If you want to over power the sun you'd probably need to invest in some bigger strobes. Just keep practicing! I promise it gets easier!
