Oyster Recall: Choripdong Brand
On November 4, 2011 the U.S. Food and Drug Administration began warning consumers not to eat ASSI brand frozen oysters from Korea, following an outbreak of illness in Washington state caused by norovirus. The recall has been expanded and now includes Choripdong and Pacific Giant brand frozen oysters. Look at the photos of affected frozen oysters in the Oyster Recall photo set. If you are unsure whether your oysters have been recalled, contact the place where you purchased them for confirmation.
