Good luck, Ace! BTW, can you remove this fig from the card? It looks like that 2x2 plate is glued to the card and the fig just stuck to the plate. Also, I assume the back of this fig is printed? On the site you can rotate the GL and BM figs 360 and see that the GL is printed on the back as well.
Oh, if you get a chance to ask questions of the LEGO reps, one thing to ask is why currently only shows DC content and no Marvel content. They probably won't know since the guys doing the onsite display are probably a totally separate group than the people who run the website, but I was curious. That's one of the reasons that I initially thought the Marvel license was a spurious internet rumor - the press release for the Marvel license wasn't up on until this morning. Of course, we saw these first photos from San Diego last night, so it's not like the confusion lasted too long.

I want either this guy or batman. But only if they come off. Do they?

      Let's hope so.

Yes, the minifigure is removable from the plate, and yes he has printing on the back torso. He also has a double-sided head; on with a smirk, and the other an enraged facial expression.

Hey Ace, or vstarvan, or anyone else at ComicCon,

Can you tell us anything about the back sides of the figs in the display cases? It looks like you can look into the case from the edge. For instance, does Superman have an S on his cape? Are the other torsos printed on both sides?

It was kind of hard to look at the backs at they were placed only inches away from the wall, but from what I saw, All minifigures (or at least most) will have back printing, even batman with his cape has back printing on his torso. I don't think Superman has an S on his cape, but I can't double check for you as I won't be going to Comic-con again until next year.
