a comforter this year
some of you may remember last year's bacon sweater. This year I opted for a full on comforter!
When I stopped in on the pig people at the farmer's market, it was late in the day and the bacon was gone.. But they had fat back!! Nice.
I dry brined (a misnomer, I know) the bird this year, and it was without doubt the best I've made. Really tender, but not soggy.
