Orange Cauliflower

Found at Bi-Rite Market in San Francisco's Mission District. Orange cauliflower gets it's distinct color from extra beta-carotene naturally stored in its florets. Additionally it has 25 percent more vitamin A than the more common white variety.

The taste is a bit more sugary and creamier than typical cauliflower. But it can be successful used in any recipe that calls for cauliflower.
