The State of Food and Agriculture 2014: Innovation in Family Farming was prepared in close collaboration between ESA and DDNR, with inputs from many other units in FAO and other key organizations. The report was officially launched on 16 October with a press conference featuring a statement from the Director General and key messages of the report. This seminar will provide FAO staff with a more complete briefing on the contents of the report and some of the underlying technical analysis, evidence and policy recommendations. Staff will have the opportunity to discuss the future direction of FAO technical work on innovation in family farming.
