The Committee on World Food Security (CFS) organized a technical consultative workshop on “Food Security and Nutrition Action Mapping at Country Level” from 23-25 May in Rome, Italy. Approximately forty stakeholders were invited including experts representing governments, CSO/NGOs, implementing organizations and UN and development agencies. The 2 ½ day workshop enabled participants to develop a collective understanding of what is required to map food and security nutrition actions at country level based on existing experiences. Participants also shared experiences and views on existing systems, tools and practices and listed requirements for making action mapping happen.
