The Christmas Story According to Luke
My computer is 99.9% running perfect again. Still have to load a lot of programs, but I can get here. THIS is the piece I worked long and hard on to get it just right. While wondering what music to put with it, a dear and wonderful friend sent me a gift certificate. With it I got a Susan Boyle disc of my favorite songs of hers.
She sings Silent Night like an angel and I used part of her song to go with this slideshow.
This is the story of the birth of Christ, from the Book of Luke, Chapters, one and two. It is the most traditional passage read by kids in Christmas programs and pastors on Christmas Eve and also my favorite Biblical account of Jesus conception and birth. Thank you for being patient with me. My daughter, Jen was so overwhelmed by your prayers, she is feeling much more confident about her upcoming surgery. It is certainly not the first of its kind and it probably won't be the last, but her illness keeps us close to the Lord.
We have been with her thru these crises and I see the Hand of God on her and on those who would help heal her. Thank you to special angels who are praying for her and in their church prayer groups also. You are the best there is. God will bless you and give you peace for being who He asks us ALL to be, His hands and eyes and mouths on Earth. Sharing His Word and helping carry the burdens of others. May this year end better than it started and may we be blessed by our Father in Heaven now and always.
Blessed Advent and Christmas. JJ and Family
PLEASE WATCH THIS IN FULL PAGE SIZE AND TURN UP YOUR SPEAKERS> You will be able to read the verses better and you really should hear Susan Boyle sing to God her praise of love. Thank you, jj
