( Nov, 2014) or in the new book : Beautiful Boxes #3

On my very first participation in an origami meeting in 2011 (Freising) I have seen this beautiful "Hexagon Diamond Box". Hilli Zenz had folded it from her self-colored paper! I was immediately in love with this box :-)!

I was long looking for the book by Tomoko Fuse with the instructions, which is unfortunately out of print. This year I was able to finally buy it used.

But the clou is that I had luckily the chance to learn the lid of this box from Hilli this early summer in Prien. She showed a very different, very economical way to fold the diamond lid as it is found in the book.

So here now I can show my fold of the beautiful "Hexagonal Diamond Box" by Tomoko Fuse.

And please take a look of the beautiful fold by Hilli with her self-painted paper here .

Many, many thanks again, Hilli , for learning/teaching me this wonderful box!!
