Ervik Graveyard Midnight
Graveyard of Ervik Church captured about 45 minutes before midnight, in the rain.
There has been burial ground in Ervik since before 1550. The sailors that drowned on Stadthavet are believed to be the first people one started burying here. Stories tell that some Portuguese sailors were the very first buried in Ervik. In older times, the priest from Selje visited Ervik once per year, to bless the graves of those buried here during the year.
