Google Profiles are now OpenIDs!

You can now use your Google Profile URL as an OpenID:

 

www.google.com/profiles/chris.messina

 

Previously you could only use this arcane URL to access your Google OpenID:

 

www.google.com/accounts/o8/id

 

Find your own Google Profile URL:

 

www.google.com/profiles/me

 

...then use it to sign in to any OpenID relying party!

 

If you don't have a public profile, you can set one up:

 

www.google.com/profiles
