Burnished-buff Tanager (Saíra-amarela)

Female

 

Inhabits open forests and woodlands, cultivated areas, parks and gardens. It lives in pairs or small groups.

 

The male has a plume of yellow-gold and a striking black mask that extends down the throat and passes through the middle of all the belly.

The female is paler and lacks the black mask. In both sexes the wings have a bright green color.
