Kerala, India - Pristine Island - Pure and Beautiful
A small distance away from Cochin, the commercial hub of Kerala, lies this serene, unspoilt, and pristine wonderland of water, sky and a small strip of land.
The first time I visited this in 2006, it was lit up in the evening light like this. It was possible to take only a few shots before the CF card ran out of space. It was just luck that was on my side or pure chance I do not know.
On many subsequent visits over the next 3 years, it was never ever like this. It would be different every time. Reddish, skies, hazy at times, and then the waterway would be clogged with water hyacinth.
To say with an air of finality that this was the best that Pristine Island was, would be foreclosing the options. Maybe another visit sometimes soon would throw it up in an even better light. Who knows. One lives and hopes.
