    Twilight moonrise on January 10, 2008.

    While shooting, I adjusted the exposure to keep moon details but getting as much background as possible. Fairly challenging to blend -- still using vertical strips as before. Rather than keep the moon's brightness constant, I decided to hold the sky at a maximum red value of 128 until it got too noisy to do so for the last few images, thus the moon appears to brighten relative to the sky. From Twin Peaks. 20 minute span starting at ~4:56pm.

      Thanks. Works best when the sky is changing color, otherwise it can look like the moon is just being cloned a bunch of times.
