    I worked on the Ranch... when black hawk was a ranch. This was the outerbound on the southern side.

    There used to be a couple of streams running through here. You could catch crawdad's, blue gill and sun fish in them. One after this first row of houses and another on the other side of that ridge.

    I doubt the water supply is there anymore. I know you would want to eat anything from it.

    It goes that way, I guess.

    Sadly, yeah, it does go that way -- so far. I was out on Dougherty Road yesterday; it's succumbing to sprawl. Hundreds, thousands of cars. A truly sick lifestyle; everyone looks unhappy.
