One thing I thought was neat about this picture is that when editing, I realized that I didn’t know those clouds existed around this scene! Probably been on the attraction over 20 times and never noticed them… I guess that’s one of the beauties of photography is that you get a little extra time to study the details that you would have otherwise looked over. As far as dark-ride images that I have captured, this is a new favorite of mine because I was able to get the entire scene in the picture, thanks to the Nikkor 14-24mm f/2.8 goodness.
In this famous scene of the 1952 musical “Singin’ In The Rain”, Gene Kelly reportedly had a 103° fever… even so, it proved to be his greatest solo performance of his career.
On a side note, I set out earlier in the year to get and watch every movie featured in “The Great Movie Ride”. Naturally, since I hadn’t seen it before, “Singin’ In The Rain” was the first one I watched – and I enjoyed every second of it… great movie.
